About the founder
Jure Vuga was born in Koper, Slovenia in 1983. He graduated in 2009, jointly at the department of Cultural Sociology and Art History at the Philosophical Faculty, University of Ljubljana. For the thesis about Botticelli’s Primavera he received the highest acknowledgement for students in Slovenia, the Prešeren prize for students.
He is now following the Ph.D. study course at the same faculty, where he deals with the enigmatic Venetian Renaissance painter Giorgione da Castelfranco and the influence of the arcane paganizing allegories of the novel Hypnerotomachia Poliphily on his work.
His study interests and the work on the Ph.D. thesis have allowed him to explore the meanders of specialized research institutes and libraries where scholars are admitted only with a letter of presentation. The preliminary research work conducted in the field of occult traditions has given him the boldness to put into practice and share with others the results of what has been so far a dry academic study. He has been working as a tourist guide with great satisfaction since 2010.
